What Does a 1UP Collaborative Gaming™
1-on-1 Session Look Like?
Step 1:
Planning and Goals
We start by setting goals for the session. For returning participants, we review what we worked on in previous weeks and discuss any challenges. We also identify specific skills to focus on during the session. This structured approach ensures each session is productive and consistent, focusing on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Step 2:
Jumping into the Game
Next, we dive into the game. Depending on our goals, we might play multiple games or focus on just one. We collaborate, make decisions together, and assist each other. If we encounter challenges, we use a 1UP Quicksave™ to pause, solve the challenge, and continue progressing towards our goals.
Step 3:
Recap and Reflection
We end by reflecting on our session. We discuss the achievements, any challenges, and how well we achieved our goals, including the specific skills we focused on. We then talk about what we would like to achieve next time. Finally, we always end with a quick, fun game or a few minutes of free play.
